Bellies & Birthworkers is an ongoing community gathering designed to bring perinatal families and birthworkers into the same space—before support is urgently needed.
Rooted in a community-based model of care, this gathering centers connection, familiarity, and trust across the full perinatal period—from trying to conceive through postpartum.
In many cases, families are expected to make important decisions about their care with little to no prior relationship with the people supporting them. This space exists to shift that.
Here, families and care providers have the opportunity to:
Meet and connect in a grounded, unhurried environment
Ask questions and share information openly
Build relationships that can continue beyond the event
Engage care as something collaborative, not prescriptive
Bellies & Birthworkers is intentionally structured to feel different.
There is no pressure to commit, no expectation to perform, and no urgency to decide. Instead, the focus is on creating a space where people can come into alignment with the support that feels right for them.
For birthworkers, this gathering invites a return to relationship-based care—where being known in community carries as much weight as the services offered.
For families, it offers access to care that honors their voice, their choices, and their lived experience.
